AUMI 2.2.3 for iOS
AUMI for iPads, iPhones and iPod touches has been updated with many new features and changes.
Take a look at this presentation which goes over many of them!

There's a new way to play AUMI: a pose detector! It's really a video frame recognizer, but it's most easily used for detecting poses. You "train" it by double clicking the screen and holding poses for a few seconds, which associates that image with the sounds of your AUMI instrument, in order. You get up to 32 poses! double clicking gets you out of the training mode and into pose detection mode. When a pose is detected, you hear the corresponding sound! There are some controls to help with the training and detection, making them more tolerant.
The equivalent of "motion tracking spots" is available to help you see how this feature works. It puts tiny images on the screen that get brighter in proportion to how close it matches what the camera sees now.

In the Timing and Chords screen, there's a new row with Yankee Doodle, Row Row Row Your Boat, Happy Birthday "micro melodies". Now there is also a "Memory" section that uses the "Step" slider to set up a loop of notes you have played. Mind you, it's kind of hard to get those notes in order, but you can build up musical patterns that are fun to improvise over with other copies of AUMI.

If you want to get all dodecaphonic, the Scales for melodic instruments now include tone rows: scrambling the order of notes in an octave. There as 12-tone, diatonic, and pentatonic versions. That means if you go between consecutive sound boxes, the notes can jump around a bit! It also makes for some interesting chords and rhythmic combos!
